Proto byl v roce 1904 založen nový hřbitov, který má jak křesťanskou, tak židovskou část . Obě části nedělí ani zeď ani jiná zábrana , hroby jsou vedle sebe. Židovská část má i svoji svatyni. The original Chlumecký cemetery was at the Church of the Holy Trinity, then at St.Voršila, where it interfered with the development of the city. That is why a new cemetery was founded in 1904, which has both a Christian and a Jewish part. Both parts are divided neither by the wall nor any other barrier, the graves are next to each other. The Jewish part also has its own shrine.

Část městského hřbitova sloužící pro pohřbívání Židů z města byla založena v roce 1905. Rozkládá se na ploše 638 m2 a dodnes se tu dochovalo 36 novodobých náhrobních kamenů. Původní středověký židovský hřbitov, který byl založen někdy před rokem 1538, zanikl někdy po roce 1557 a do dnešní doby se po něm nedochovaly žádné stopy. Chlumecká židovská komunita přestala existovat v roce 1931. An interesting and not quite typical solution of the Jewish cemetery in the western part of the local one.
