★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought two nights in the family room for 7.600 czk. Breakfast and dinner were included and absolutely gorgeous. There was the wine cellar with a beautiful design and wine self service which was a great idea.
But we were extremely disappointed with the area, because the main building was the only beautifuly renovated and the rest was quite old.
Also, the room was a big dissater: cold shower and room where we had to pay extra for a dirty baby crib (in the website they said it was free). Zero privacy once the balcony is shared with the dinning room. Plus you would have to pay extra 600 czk for the amenities! And for the price you pay you expect at least extra shampoo and soap as a courtesy.
So, as for cost X benefity very bad outcome. There is still room for improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this started as a very nice place, but over the years has gone rubbish. For "london type" prices you would expect decent level of service - none of that. Arrogant management, our room was not available and we were without any compensation placed in what would ordinarily be a cupboard. Awful experience - never more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this amazing place place twice and we never regretted. The food is delicious (no, it is not local and not seasonal, but still delicious). The staff is super nice and friendly, I have never seen even a housekeeper to smile and say hello. The house and the rooms are designed with attention to detail, we especially enjoy the bathrooms. And the surroundings are romantic: the views to the landscape are great and there are sheep wandering across the property. There is a farm just next door, so if you do not like animals and countryside, it is not a place for you. If you do (like us), you will enjoy riding a horse, playing with a dog or taking pictures of cows and sheep. We simply love the getaway in Zikmundov.
