★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavé místo na úbočí kopce zvaného Chlum s historickými stopami našich dějin, které současně tvoří jednu ze zastávek naučné stezky v okolí pošumavské vesničky Chanovice. Zde údajně pobýval několik dnů Jan Žižka v průběhu svého tažení s cílem dobytí hradu Rábí.
V nedalekém sousedství se nachází také socha sv. Martina, odkud se nabízí překrásný výhled na panorama Šumavy a Českého lesa. Rozhodně doporučuji k návštěvě! ??
An interesting place on the slope of a hill called Chlum with historical traces of our history, which also forms one of the stops on the nature trail around the village of Chanovice in Pošumava. Jan Žižka allegedly stayed here for several days during his campaign to conquer Rábí Castle.
In the nearby neighborhood there is also a statue of St. Martin, from where there is a beautiful view of the panorama of the Šumava and the Bohemian Forest. I definitely recommend to visit! ??
