★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rotunda of St. Catherine has been build in the middle of 11th century and the wall paintings inside are from the end of the 11th century. The paintings are very frail so the visit to the rotunda is limited based on the weather conditions. The paintings are beautiful and well preserved and it is a strong experience to see them in person. Inside it is forbidden to speak so audio guide is provided which is very good.
