Nice nature trail for families with children

Super nice and is suitable for the family.

Apparently the rescuers managed to save most of the animals, because there were not many left in the aviaries during my visit.

The rescue station for injured animals has been operated by the Town Museum of Františkovy Lázně at the Soos Science Department since 1988. The station takes care of all kinds of wild injured or exhausted animals except wolf, bear and elk, for which there is no adequate equipment. Part of the station area is open to the public and you can find out more about the station's activities and the species of animals being treated. Birds of prey are placed in the aviaries, which cannot be released back to nature due to the consequences of injuries. The inhabitants of this station are, for example, the eagle owl, barn owl, tawny owl, brown kite, hawk, the most numerous are kestrel and buzzard. Very rare animal species also get into the station for treatment or for feeding and independence. For example, the goosander, the curve, the honeybee, the Eurasian Pygmy Owl or the Eurasian Owl. Of the mammals, hedgehogs are the most common, but the badger, several bats or the raccoon and other species have also been treated.
