★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavé místo s krásnými výhledy , mimo jiné na trať Olomouc - Praha. Původně velmi rozsáhlý hrad, zachovalo se z něj bohužel málo .
 An interesting place with beautiful views, including the Olomouc - Prague line. Originally a very large castle, unfortunately little of it has survived.

Beautiful peace and quiet in a quiet village, but most importantly an incredible view from the monument to the railway extension.

A time ago, a castle that looked like this stood out above Hoštejn. Today only a view of the surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Místo na nás dýchne historií a úžasem co naši předkové dokázali bez technologických vymožeností . Na kopci stával hrad Hohenstein o němž je první přímá písemná zmínka je z roku 1289 . Zakladatelem hradu ( z něž zbyly jen rozvaliny a zbytek věže ) byl Boreš z Rýzmburka . Cesta k obelisku ( postaven 1847 ) který připomíná dostavění železnice Praha - Olomouc je krátká leč strmá . Doporučuji navštívit ?
The place breathes history and amazement at what our ancestors did without technological conveniences. On the hill stood Hohenstein Castle, which is the first direct written mention is from 1289. The founder of the castle (of which only the ruins and the rest of the tower remained) was Boreš of Rýzmburk. The road to the obelisk (built in 1847) which is reminiscent of the completion of the Prague - Olomouc railway is short but steep. I recommend visiting ?
