★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the rudest restaurant we have ever been to. The waiter was more irritated that we were there than actually doing his job. The food was subpar. The saving grace was an older local gentleman who invited us to join him and entertained us with war stories. Even he said the food was bad. The waiter was truly the worst we’ve ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t agree more to the rude attitude of the waiters. Cutlery was dropped twice on the table while clearing the table. Waiter did not apologise and didn’t even bother to change the unused but stained cutlery. Food was sub-standard as well. How can a restaurant with poor quality food and sub-standard service win awards displayed in the restaurant? What a shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They offer special locally sourced meat. I tried the cold meat platter to have with beer one night and the quality was grast. I had been dreaming of a well fried or grilled rump steak with chips and some other side's but this was not to be. The choice on the steaks is limited and rump only came as sou vide and not with the sides I wanted. Sirloin was offered with the sides I wanted but was outside my budget. I would ask the create a less restrictive menu for the steak items. Instead I had the lamb with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was great value for money tender and tasty. Service was professional and friendly.

Especially the burgers are a big no-no: meat was well-done instead of medium, ketchup inside the burger was the cheapest one you can think of and the buns were so dried out that they nearly made me choke. Not worth the price for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice restaurant in the center of České Budějovice. The waiters were friendly and the food was served relatively quickly. I had a good Svíčková na smetaně here, which was delicious!
I can recommend this place.

The food was quite good. As a starter we had the Tatar which was below par from what i know from czech restaurants.
I had the flank steak as a main course which was really good especially the green pepper sauce.
Ovreall a decent restaurant, for sure not a bad choice.
