★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavá mystifikace. Patnáctý poledník ve skutečnosti prochází úplně jinde. A to v zahradě jindřichohradecké hvězdárny! ?Ovšem pro pohodlné měšťany bylo skutečné místo trochu z ruky, takže si vše upravili ke své spokojenosti. Inu, politika vždy historickou pravdu upravuje k obrazu svému.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavé místo 15. poledníku v Jindřichově Hradci je pozoruhodné a zde připomíná pomyslnou čáru 15 stupňů od nultého poledníku v Greenwich.
Půjdete kolem kostela a na straně blíže vchodu je stříbrný pruh s názvy Meridian, který je napsanými v několika ze světových jazyků. V horní části zdi je tabulka a na druhé straně deska s názvem.
V tomto místě můžete projít brankou do menší zahrady s lavičkami, přivítá vás moderní socha. Zahrada je příjemným a klidným místem pro odpočinek od projíždějících aut a městského shonu.
