Letiště vlastní a provozuje občanské sdružení Aeroklub Tábor. Aeroklub je hlavním subjektem provozující letovou činnost na letišti. Letiště je využíváno převážně plachtaři, parašutisty a piloty motorových i ultralehkých letounů. V areálu letiště se pořádají také letecké dny, koncerty populární hudby a setkání leteckých modelářů. Tábor Airport is a public domestic airport located on the southeastern edge of the South Bohemian town of Tábor near the main road E55 in the direction of Sezimovo Ústí and Planá nad Lužnicí. The airport is owned and operated by the civic association Aeroklub Tábor. The aeroclub is the main entity operating flight activities at the airport. The airport is used mainly by sailors, parachutists and pilots of motor and ultralight aircraft. The airport also hosts air days, popular music concerts and meetings of aircraft modellers.
