H	Henry Hanson IV on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using Budget intermittently in Czech for the past 18 years with few problems. Unfortunately, this just changed. A month after returning a car I was just charged 10,000kč with no notice, explanation email or phone call in spite of their having all of my information. This is totally unprofessional behavior and I will no longer be using them. Now, the challenge is to find out why they took money directly from my account!
A	Art Matsak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended. Our car got into an accident and we rented a replacement for a full month (!) from Budget in Kosice, Slovakia. The problem is, Budget has never given us an invoice so that the insurance company could reimburse us. After weeks of calls and emails to Budget's various offices, we are escalating this shady business to authorities.
A	Alfred Conway on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS IS A FRAUD COMPANY ! , NEVER BOOK A CAR FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS. I booked a car for 1 day ( drove only 60km ) on 2.July including a no excess Comprehensive insurance. On pick up the desk handed over the car keys etc. and told me to pick up the car on level 5 of car park opposite the airport. I had no accidents or scratches on the car in any way. On returning the car , there was a thorough inspection noting any and all previous scratches on the car and the inspector all the while saying " this is routine, don't worry you have a full insurance anyway" . 50 days passed and all of a sudden I had a withdrawal from my credit card for 10.000CZK = 436 USD for an alleged damage to the car along with an invoice which was issued 45 days after I returned the car. When I objected , I received an email asking me if it was ok. to refund the amount back to the same Credit card , to which I agreed . But strangely the next day they sent another email which asked for an accident report and copy of Driving licence , this obviously is for an imaginary accident. I reported the case to my bank and am now waiting for the result. FURTHER NEWS in this FRAUD COMPANY'S PROCEDURES . Now they have even gone as far as fraudulently putting a fake signature on a " damage report" and through their bank claiming the 10.000CZK. WHERE ARE YOU BUDGET HEAD OFFICE ? ARE YOU GOING TO LET THESE FRAUDSTERS DRAG YOUR GOOD NAME DOWN ??

No invoice, No reply on e mail, no one answer the phone! It doesn't matter which number you call! The most important is that the guarantee charge still holds my credit from my card after 2 weeks! Very poor , almost no customer service!

You don't get the same car you booked and if you don't pay the expensive insurance you can end up loosing a lot of money in case of any accident. They withdrew money from my card 3 months later after returning the car without approval and they didn't even bother to let me know. The amount they took was absolutely ridiculous (the whole deposit value) comparing to the actual damage on the car.

Everything was fine until this week when they took £160 from my account. There was no problems when I hand the car in. But 3 (Three) months later they said I had scratched a wheel . No invoice billing me. No photographic evidence. Nothing. They have just lost a very valid customer.
F	Frantisek Otava on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very untrustworthy business. I used service of this branch four times in 2016 so I would consider myself as a loyal customer. So I was caught by surprise when they charged me 750 EUR two months after I'd returned the car. No explanation, no invoice nor documentation. After I contacted them they claimed the car was damaged but was not aware of any accident or scratch. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back (they obviously had no prove the car was damaged). So I suggest everyone who faces the same issue doing the same.
M	Miroslav D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID!!! It is the worst car rental companies I have ever rented a car from. Dirty, used, and damage car are rented. Being in a hurry to get to an already scheduled meeting I accepted the dirtiness of the car, After driving a few kms the warning light “triangle” on the car’s dashboard signaled an error. I phoned the desk service of the rent-car-company and been advised to return the car back the next day. Without any problem I was provided with a substitute car. The car was taken back by the rent-car-company and the deposit payment was transferred to the substitute car. However, upon return of the substitute car, the Budget AT CAR, s.r.o. refused to refund the deposit payment even though first and second cars were signed back in. Despite the fact that the handover protocol for the substitute car was duly done (no problem). I claimed the deposit payment from the company verbally and then via email, nevertheless I was refused with an argument that the first car was damaged by me. No evidence was provided. After engaging a lawyer, I received my deposit back. However, later on I received a claim for an amount about three times higher than the deposit one. This company business model is to maintain their car park from the deposit payments or from some claims for damages that the client obviously did not do. Such behavior damages the reputation of the rent car services, of Prague, and make troubles to a lot of clients as we can find in reviews about Budget.
