★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best restaurant I know of. Staff is always very friendly. Food is so delicious I sometimes take one more portion with me (they offer a takeaway, that is +5kc for the packaging). I think their "svíčková" is the best in the city (you can check the lunch menu online) - if you're a tourist, maybe you should give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool little restaurant just a block from Dancing house. The little garden downstairs and out the back is really quaint and friendly. They do Mexican and Czech food here. We both had Czech dishes that were fantastic, and a Mexican pickled cheese appetizer that was really good. Being from AZ, I thought I knew Mexican food, but had never seen this before. Totally recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strange attempt to offer both Mexican and Czech cousine. Restaurant decor is thus such an schizophrenic, as well as menu. Food is average, wine slightly better, beer worse. Very attentive service, no need to book table in advance. Calm place. Prices in line with competition around. Overall good for lunch sometimes, but you probably won't come back often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got to know this place when I studied in Prague and had been there every week as the food was excellent and the service was great. After two years, went there again twice this week and it was shocking. First we were turned down saying that the kitchen was closed at 9 pm on a Friday night, and the other day we weren’t let in as the extremely rude waiter told us that all tables were full. There was a table for 8 people at which only two was sitting, and right at that moment another table paid so we decided to wait till they leave, but then the waiter YELLED at us saying that we cannot eat there. I don’t know where all those very friendly ladies are who used to work there, but with that waiter who doesn’t know anything about hospitality, I do not recommend going there. With that treatment, they lost 4 regular customers from my side, and although I had always recommended it to anyone who went to Prague, I am definitely not going to do that again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family of four stayed in the hotel above and we ate here for the two evenings we were in Prague.
All in all, we can recommend it without any doubt, since not only the food, but the waiters and especially the owner were very kind and friendly.
Our food was very well done and tasted better than anything else we ate in Prague.
On the first evening we ordered traditional Czech food. My order, the duck with red cabbage and dumplings, was incredible! I would eat it for Christmas dinner anytime. My brother had tacos, and I couldn't help it but I had to steal some of them because they were very good.
On the second evening, my brother and I had burgers, which were huge and delicious, while my parents ordered the same as the day before, my father really loved the plate with different kinds of Czech sausages.
Again, my family and I recommend it clearly (for me, I especially recommend the duck!) , there is something for every taste (to a surprisingly low price for Prague standards!) and it has a really nice flair with one really sitting in a kind of garden and listening to the Smokey voice of a singer who sings Mexican or Spanish songs. The owner is really lovely and looks after his guests, so from our opinion you can really do nothing wrong with coming here.
Other small details : this restaurant brews its own limited dark beer itself, which I myself did not try, but my parents ordered it on both days so it seems to be good.
