★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went twice there. Staff looking annoyed. Second time we arrived at 8:30pm (closing time 10pm), while waitress was bringing food to one table. The barman said the kitchen is closed and won't serve us. Don't go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were excited to see that there was this local bakery in the village of Kvilda. We were hoping to be able to get fresh local bread there. We bought a loaf of their Cesar bread, kaiser rolls, and a huckleberry pie. The pie was pretty good. The bread and the rolls were off a mediocre quality. Spongy and very quickly dried out. Both reminded me of typical supermarket baked goods. Obviously, this bakery gives priority to quantify over quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place having style. Except baked goods you can have a lunch there. You can choose from approx. 4 meals. I've expected also some traditional Šumava meals but they offered only pancakes with blueberries. We decided not to have a lunch there but in neighbouring brewery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local restaurant and bakery in Kvilda. We haven’t tried bakery yet. The menu offers only very few meals, but they looked fresh. The place was full. We have tried beans soup with their bread and it was good. Beer was also very tasty! They accept only cash ?
