Only arrived very late. Wide choice of beers, including very strong beers. Staff were friendly and very polite in asking us as the last customers to leave.

Here now. Came in around 4:00 PM 1st customer. Within a few minutes a couple of other guys came in and sat at the bar. Bartender super friendly and has a history of running a brewery. One of the guys at the bar brews his own beer and also has a great knowledge of Czech beers. Very chilled out place and perfect spot to talk Czech beers and beers in general.

Nice place, good young chaps. Could have more local crafts and less international.

Don't pay in cash. Use only credit cards (That way you are insured by the bank) -------------------------------- 26/5/2022 - Update: Emailed owner twice (21st & 24th May) to review the tape and inform me of the outcome. No reply. -------------------------------- Old review continued: I would never write a bad review... (but here's the first :( ) Went to Raiffeisenbank bank around the corner at took out 8,000. Ordered 3 beers that the bar tender (boy with a ponytail) recommended, paid him with 2,000 and told the bartender (with a ponytail) 250. I got 750 back. After asking him to double check... He said I played with 1,000. After checking my wallet I can concur that I paid with 2,000 as I was short of a 1,000. He said / she said -> Lesson learned (I hope you/he enjoyes the €40+ tip) Never pay in cash!!!!!

I come here every time I’m in Prague. A great selection of craft beer on tap, even if it is a little more pricey than other places. Always a buzzing atmosphere and the place to meet people as it’s a central expat hangout too. Don’t know where to start? Try a tasting deck with five beers of choice from the menu.

Awesome place, great choice of craft beers and very good chicken wings with homemade BBQ sauce made with imperial stout. This bar is a home of Sibeeria brewery, I recommend to taste their perfect crafts including some limited brews.

Great selection of beer from all over Europe... Both bottled and draft. Particularly good selection of Belgium, Danish, and of course Czech beers during my visit. That said, I feel like this is more of a beer-tourist pub than a quality craft beer place. I'm not sure about employee turnover, but the bartender I had didn't know the name of the beer I ordered (very popular Czech made IPA, and had to look over his shoulder at the display for what was on tap a couple of times to punch it. I also waited at the bar for 10 or 15 minutes before getting up and walking to another part of the bar to put in my order. No big deal really...but it wasn't crazy busy before 6pm on a weekday. I also had to steal a coaster from a nearby table for my pint...so that was awkward. Standard fare for an American-style bar (wings, fries, carrots and celery to accompany the aforementioned; quesadillas, a couple sandwiches, and various snack nuts). That said, I had to "peel apart" the menu to discover the eats because it was literally stuck together with a previous customer's chewing gum haha! I mean, who does that? If you're looking for craft beer and you're anywhere near JZP, I'd recommend checking it out. It's a neat, subterranean beer spot with lots of beer-themed "art". I find the wider selection, service, and crowd at places like Bad Flash more inviting and less theme-park-touristy than the Beerplebees feeling I get here, but to each their own. In fact, even the middle-of-tourist-center U Kunštátů in Old Town Prague feels more authentic. Weird. It was on my list and I'm glad I got to Czech it out. The highlight was the keg urinals in the men's room. That was kinda hilarious--though reinforces the over-the-top theme park feeling. It's like a craft beer bar that wants to celebrate "craft beer bars" vs a craft beer bar wanting to "celebrate beer"
