Wheelchair Trail in Krásná Lípa - original barrier-free hiking trail The barrier-free trail on the border of the Lusatian Mountains and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park is the first of its kind in the Ústí nad Labem Region. The route is conceived as a circuit that starts in Krásná Lípa on the square at the House of Bohemian Switzerland, which is wheelchair accessible, leads to the direction of exit to Rumburk, where it turns right along the Border Trail and heads towards the turning to the Křinice river springs. It continues past the former phonolite quarry at Studánka to the Velký rybník (Large pond) nature reserve. From there it is possible to go back through the forest to Krásná Lípa train station and then back to the square. The base circuit is approximately five kilometers long. A longer, nine-kilometer variant is also available. In contrast to classic hiking trails, wheelchair trails are marked with signs. These are metal signposts with wheelchair symbol. They are made in three difficulty classes: blue, red and black (see photos). The town of Krásná Lípa and the Club of Czech Tourists from Krásná Lípa participated in the creation of this original barrier-free path. There are eight information boards along the route.
