Good for a walk

The barrier-free trail on the border of the Lusatian Mountains and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park is the first of its kind in the Ústí Region. The route is conceived as a circuit that starts in Krásná Lípa on the square near the House of Bohemian Switzerland, which is barrier-free, leads towards the exit to Rumburk, where it turns right along the Border Trail and heads to the turnoff to the springs of Křinice. It continues around the former Znělcov quarry in Studánka to the Velký rybník nature reserve. From here it is then possible to return through the forest to the Krásná Lípa train station and then back to the square. The basic circuit measures about five kilometers. There is also a longer, nine-kilometer variant. Wheelchair routes differ from the classic hiking trails by markings. These are sheet metal turn signals with a wheelchair symbol. They are made in three difficulty classes: blue, red and black (see photo). The town of Krásná Lípa and the Club of Czech Tourists from Krásná Lípa, among others, took part in the creation of the original barrier-free trail. You can see eight information boards on the route. It continues past the former phonolite quarry at Studánka to the Velký rybník (Large pond) nature reserve. From there it is possible to go back through the forest to Krásná Lípa train station and then back to the square. The base circuit is approximately five kilometers long. A longer, nine-kilometer variant is also available. In contrast to classic hiking trails, wheelchair trails are marked with signs. These are metal signposts with wheelchair symbol. They are made in three difficulty classes: blue, red and black (see photos). The town of Krásná Lípa and the Club of Czech Tourists from Krásná Lípa participated in the creation of this original barrier-free path. There are eight information boards along the route.
