Znázorňuje Českého lva chránícího štít s rakouskou orlici, na svém žulovém soklu měla bronzové desky se jmény padlých v prusko-rakouské válce z roku 1866. Autorem sochy byl Klement Grundig z Drážďan, odlita byla za 30.000 Korun drážďanskou firmou Brinling. The impressive statue was unveiled in 1908 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the reign of Franz Joseph I and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Veterans Association in Krásná Lípa. It depicts the Bohemian Lion protecting the shield with the Austrian eagle. On its granite plinth it had bronze plates with the names of the fallen in the Prussian-Austrian War of 1866. The sculpture was designed by Klement Grundig of Dresden and cast for 30,000 crowns by Dresden's Brinling.
