Black Angel's Bar
Black Angel’s Bar a jeho menu je vytvořeno podle dochovaných poznámek a náčrtů české barové legendy minulého století Aloise Krchy, které se našly při rekonstrukci budovy s původním názvem „U Černého anděla“. Bar je postaven ve stylu prohibičních podniků 30. let, tzv. „public house“, v nichž se potkávali lidé všech společenských vrstev se svými známými a přáteli, aby po těžkém pracovním dni potěšili ducha sklenkou dobrého drinku. V té době byl zcela nepochopitelně zakázán!
Dle tehdejších důvodů je Black Angel’s Bar situován v gotickém sklepení hotelu U Prince na Staroměstském náměstí v Praze (dříve U Černého anděla).
V prostorách s původním románským a gotickým kamenným zdivem, navozujícím atmosféru utajovaného „scházení se“, se ponoříte do nálady černobílých filmů, v nichž jména koktejlů nebyla jen prázdnými názvy.
Jako projekt je Black Angel‘s Bar výtvorem manažera Pavla „Pavky“ Šímy, jenž byl v polovině roku 2009 pověřen rekonstrukcí jednoho z pater hotelu. Vznik nové vlajkové lodi společnosti zaštítil externí poradce Zdeněk Kaštánek, spolumajitel světově oceňovaného singapurského baru 28 Hong Kong Street.
Black Angel‘s Bar je od svého otevření nedílnou součástí světové barové špičky. To dokládá i jeho každoroční umístění mezi Top 10 nejlepších hotelových barů na světě “Tales of the Cocktail“ v americkém New Orleans, v nejprestižnější barové soutěži přiřazované k filmovým “Oskarům“.
Jedině u nás se nemožné stává možným.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry, you have to have a 2 star which is something I rarely give. The bar was decorated really well, the cocktail was nice,but seriously 'No photos' why the crazy rule. Part of the fun of a holiday to most people is sharing photos with friends. I have an insta with over a 1000 followers and like to share stuff on there too. It is not like it was full of famous people and the paparazzi wanted to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love this bar. there is a piano and saxophone. the menu for drinks it's huge and it come with a story in each drink. it's also popular place to hangout reservation is recommended. The bartender is very entertaining by making drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Black Angel is perfectly located in town. It’s by far the best bar in Prague. Cocktails? The best you’ll ever have. Creativity? Out of this world. The down to earth bartenders will craft cocktails just for you if you allow them to. When you first walk in the mood is set with a wonderful pianist playing and a cave-like ceiling. For the 4 days I was in Prague, I spent every night here, enjoying the delicious cocktails and fun staff. This bar is a must while in Prague!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE best cocktail bar we've ever been to in any city. You just tell them the flavours you want and they'll do some magic to satisfy your taste buds. The cocktails are strong (they don't cheap out on the alcohol) BUT the alcohol taste is not noticeable at all. The cocktails themselves are amazing & have really good flavour.
The staff are super nice & friendly. Our waiter Pavel was really kind, polite & attentive. He made really good recommendations on what to get and really hit the spot on what we liked. Overall we spent around 2hrs at the bar & around 5-6 cocktails. Make sure to ask your bartender/waiter what they can make outside of the menu too! We asked them to make us a long island iced tea & they made it perfectly. Perfect flavours, mix & strength.
Prices are a bit on the high side but is very much worth it in my opinion. Would definitely come back when I visit Prague again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MUST VISIT: this bar is not just for tourists but filled with locals. It’s a very beautiful underground cocktail house. They have professional bartenders who make high quality perfect cocktails. Very friendly, they speak good English. I highly suggest sit it at the bar! Get to know the bartender and let him whip up drinks based on what you tell them. They do not disappoint .. we had 5 cocktails and 1 shot.. all 10/10 spent 5 hours there, very comfortable good vibes with the pianist playing. We came on a Wednesday and ended up being a busy night.

The drinks are good, atmosphere is great, music is played by pianist live, unique decoration. The only drawback is that you don’t actually understand the cocktails menu and the bar tender doesn’t have the time to spend to help you. So I just went with what he made for me.
