M	Martin Kriz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bořeňská zahrada vznikala v letech 1929 až 1933. Zakladatelem zahrady byl Franz Kotrba. Ten na úpatí Bořně vytvořil skvostnou alpskou zahradu. Rostly zde různé druhy růží, vřesu, cyprišů. Hitem se však staly skalničky. Záměrem této zahrady bylo seznámit prostý lid s dovezenou alpskou květenou. A především s květenou hory Bořně, která se řadí nepochybne mezi nejvýznamnější a nejzajímavejší botanické lokality v České republice. Květena území čítá téměř 500 druhů vyšších rostlin. Bořeňská zahrada byla později obohacena o další část, a sice o jakýsi park lesní a domácí zvěře. Během socialismu však byla zahrada rozebrána na skalky místními zahrádkáři. Zbyla jen vstupní brána. Bořeňská garden was built between 1929 and 1933. The founder of the garden was Franz Kotrba. At the foot of Bořně he created a gorgeous Alpine garden. Different kinds of roses, heather, cyprus. Hits have become rocks. The intention of this garden was to familiarize the common people with the imported Alpine flower. And above all the floral mountain of Bořně, which undoubtedly belongs among the most important and most interesting botanical sites in the Czech Republic. The flora of the area contains almost 500 species of higher plants. Bořeňská garden was later enriched with another part, a kind of forest park and domestic game. During socialism, however, the garden was scattered over the rock gardens by local gardeners. Only the gate is left.

P	Petr Šnajdr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bořeňskou zahradu vybudoval Franz Kotrba v letech 1929 až 1933 jakožto Alpskou zahradu, kterou by si tu mohli všichni prohlédnout. Po válce však nebyla již udržovaná a tak zanikla, dnes už tu roste víceméně jen les a to, že tu byla zahrada připomíná jen opuštěná vstupní brána. Prošel jsem co zbylo a kromě řady několika teras a schodiště toho už moc není. Místo je to ale úžasné a zahrada musela být kdysi velmi krásná. Byť znělec z kterého je Bořeň složený je tak nějak od přírody kyselý a tomu se asi bylo nutné přizpůsobit. Osobně si jako alpskou zahradu představuji spíše botanickou skladbu spojenou s dolomity, což je přesný opak toho co tu zdejší geologie umožňuje. Na druhou stranu by to bylo bezva místo na rododendronovou zahradu a spíš bych to směřoval někam tam. Dnes je místo opuštěné a na poslední fotce je vidět brána v roce 1940. After the war, however, it was no longer maintained and thus disappeared, today more or less only the forest grows here, and the fact that there was a garden here is reminiscent only of an abandoned entrance gate. I went through what was left and apart from a number of several terraces and stairs, there is not much left. But the place is amazing and the garden used to have to be very beautiful. Although the bell of which Bořeň is composed is somehow acidic by nature, it was probably necessary to adapt to it. Personally, as an alpine garden, I imagine a botanical composition associated with the Dolomites, which is the exact opposite of what the local geology allows. On the other hand, it would be a great place for a rhododendron garden and I would rather go somewhere there. Today, the place is deserted and the last photo shows the gate in 1940.
