★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Velmi povedená busta jednoho z nejslavnějších českých komiků a místního rodáka Vladimíra Menšíka byla odhalena 12. 10. 2018 na budově základní školy, která nese Menšíkovo jméno. Bustu, od sochaře Nikose Armutidise, si nejdříve objednal Menšíkův syn, ale pak si koupi rozmyslel. Je zajímavá tím, že Menšík má párátko v puse. Od jeho smrti letos uplynulo již 30 let.
 A very successful bust of one of the most famous Czech comedians and a local native Vladimír Menšík was unveiled on October 12, 2018 in the building of a primary school, which bears Menšík's name. The bust, from the sculptor Nikos Armutidis, was first ordered by Mensik's son, but then he changed his mind. It is interesting in that Menšík has a toothpick in his mouth. It has been 30 years since his death this year.
