★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mucha’ monumental work is excellent but deserves much better facilities. I have seen the canvases three times, on three different locations. This was a bit depressing despite the investments the city has done at the "unwelcoming" castle. I understand the need to diversify the national heritage across the country but representative and modern facilitities should be built first! The place is very confined place, the size of the paitings calls for a much larger exhibition hall. The black information boards in front all paitings are ridiculously placed very close to the paitings, activating the alarm each time vistitors come too close, or when one tries to scan the QR codes. Very disturbing! It would be enough to move the boards just 30-40 cm off the painted canvas. The staff was relectant to forward this message to the managers, claiming it is "Prague" that decides and not willing to accept any comments. There is a space for improvement! I recommend a visit to the Jewish Cemetery and the Chappel of St. Florian for the views of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute castle and town to visit for a short trip. The Castle is currently under renovation. Visiting this place in winter is probably not something to recommend, but in the summer time due to the park and the water it can be very charming. It’s a historical place. This town is indeed very ancient and thus it’s impressive to be on this spot IMO.
