The lookout over Štampach is worth a visit

Carved in rock, beautiful nature, on the border with private land ☹️

The name of the mill clearly refers to the second half of the 16th century, when Střemy was owned by the Štampach family from Štampach. The current mill had a predecessor in the rock mill, perhaps already of medieval origin. The remains of a rock mill have been preserved on the eastern side of the valley. Two interconnected rooms with the remains of a fireplace are cut into the carved wall of a sandstone promontory. The mill itself was added to the rock wall. In the 18th century at the latest, a new brick mill was built under the opposite end of the pond dam. A two-storey brick building with a mansard roof from the late Baroque period has been preserved, dated in the gable to 1756. Delicious fresh and smoked fish. You can have them ready to eat and have a beer or just have them gutted and milled.
