★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally bitchin coffee and cocktail house. Walk up stairs to a creeky/smokey apartment flat and sit down on one of the couches or antique dinette sets. Feels like if a cool kid inherited and remodeled her Grandma's Czech flat from the 20's. Good service, great coffee and cake deals, and even better atmosphere. Must try if you are in this area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Daniel is a pretty, cosy little cafe hidden behind an unassuming door and up a couple of flights of stairs. It's a beautiful place to sit, with friends or alone, and the staff are friendly. Not all can speak English, but there are English language menus and they'll do their best. The coffee's not great, honestly — you go for the antique couches and eclectic decorations, not the excellent brew, but it's certainly worth the trouble of finding. (Especially if you're not a coffee drinker!)
