Friendly cafe just across the road of hospital

Nice place which has an original spirit. Nice selection of breakfasts. Though, there are certain things that could be improved. One of the waitresses was nice, the other rather very impersonal. Old and not very clean paper menus on the table not giving the best impression.

Good place for conversation with interesting interior, but I saw many batter cafes in Brno. I have only capucino and it were not bad, but not perfect.

The coffee is really good, you can choose from two coffee roasters. The service is fast and nice and the place is just very cool! Nice and cozy, you could spend hours just looking around.

Best place to do some “work after work”. A cosy place with authentic interior, friendly staff, good coffee, fast Internet, sockets.

If "ZERO" were an option, CAFE POLE would get it. I just left there after ordering a panini, coffee for eat-in and a croissant that was displayed on the counter for take-away. I asked if the croissant was available as I was told previously that it was a breakfast item, and as my visit was just before 17:00 I was unsure, but the cashier indicated it was available. As I sat waiting for the order, Barbora (food preparer/waitress?) came and angrily slammed my take-away part of the order on table in front of me and walked off angrily. I followed her back to the service counter and approached her to ask if she had a problem, to which she replied, "Yes, it is problem. It is too much to put (maslo and marmelada) in paper cups...and it is breakfast item... Yes, it is problem." (NOTE: I left a 35Kc tip on a 165Kc tab today and have tipped generously every time previously. ALSO NOTE: the pokladna {seemed to} happily accept and take my order...and my money). I was pretty angry now and asked for the manager, to which everyone (3 members of staff) replied that there was none on site, but I did get that her name was Kristina. I'll be returning to speak with Kristina in the morning. Barbora's (whose name I did not yet know because her colleagues would not disclose it) attitude and disrespect toward me was the worst I have experienced in more than 20 years. I will also note that I have been to this establishment on serval occasions previously over the last week and had both good and bad service experiences, although nothing like today's. I have always been polite and respectful with staff here, as most people are. Her colleagues became suddenly unhelpful as I inquired about the whereabouts of Kristina and the name of Barbora. Young Barbora's conduct was 100% a terminable offense. Restaurant is very poorly managed. If you have a complaint, it seems that default position is that there is no one there to do anything about it - albeit I was told by one member of staff that Kristina was actually sitting downstairs in the lounge area. Her admission seemed to cause an argument between staff as I turned to go downstairs for a look (Kristina not found). INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It was so bad that I will find the owner of this establishment in the hope that an appropriate outcome is had. This was entirely an unprovoked show of disrespect to a polite, well-tipping, respectful customer. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE

The place itself is great. It has its own and quite unique atmosphere. On the other hand, the waitress wasn't exactly polite. No "thank you", no "you are welcome". Cakes were great, coffee was OK. Hope that the personell will be friendlier and more polite next time.

Interesting cafe set over a few floors reminds me of a futuristic Bauhaus look. Lots of cakes on offer and decent coffee to. In the summer the terrace is nice but just make sure to catch the attention of the staff as it’s a big place and you can get lost. My favourite cake had to be the avocado cheese cake it was delicious.
