I am very disappointed with this medical provider. This is supposed to be a premium private health care provider. However the service this company provides is worse than the state sector and you have to pay premium for it. My experience is this. I booked myself to see a doctor on Friday afternoon of a long weekend. When I arrived for my appointment at the medical center in the outskirts of Prague I was told that the doctor I was scheduled to see was not there and whether I would like to reschedule. Needless to say this made me pretty angry as they could call me earlier in the day to save me all the travelling. After calming down I was offered a second appointment in a different medical facility two weeks later. Again when I arrived I was told that the doctor is delayed and that I should wait 30 minutes. After waiting in excess of 30minutes I enquired when I could see the doctor. I was told to wait at least another 30 minutes that the doctor is delayed with another patient. Since the reception could not say with any certainty when the doctor will be available I decided to cut my losses short and left. I came to a conclusion that, even tough this company may have good doctors on its books, the doctors do not take CMC patients as priority.

Went for stiches removal. Lovely and extremely profesionnal nurses! Gentle, friendly, great! What a shame the staff at the reception is so rude and arrogant. Won't stop chatting when you arrive at the desk and won't even say hello. Typically czech, but I think with training it can improved...the eception staff at Waltrovka is much nicer. It's a shame because the nurses are absolutely perfect.

I absolutely love my provider! Beautiful building esthetics. Extremely pleasant and helpful front office staff. Refreshments are always offered. Bathrooms are spotless and always fully stocked. Little to no wait to be seen for scheduled appointments. The providers are very personable and actively listen. Appointments are never rushed. Highly recommended!

If you are a fan of receiving unexpected invoices with due to date in the next few days (7500 kč in total for me), 3 months after you visited a doctor, go ahead. I understand that insurance do not cover everything (I have two: commercial Genereli and VZP) but at least you can notify your patients in advance what is covered with it and what is not. 1400 kč is for doctor follow up, which is basically an email with 3 strings of text. Overall impression from medical attention I received was mediocre as well (there really was nothing special except for being close to my place).

The person answering the phone was not helpful at all. I called to enquire about a new employee medical check up (timing/prices/location). They requested a lot of personal information before they would agree to answer questions. Got all my and my employers private info and hanged up on me saying the doctor will contact you. Then nothing happened for a whole week and suddenly I get a non reply email from some unknown nurse at a location and time that does not fit my needs. This is shameful service for a private clinic. I got an appointment with all relevant information at a state GP (in English) within 1 day. I could also choose the day and time. Canadian medical pray on desperate foreigners but provide service worse than state funded doctors.

Hi, I will gladly explain my rating: this clinic has a horrible, discriminatory approach made worse by an arrogant helpline receptionist. I was looking for a cardiologist for a self-payer. My friend came as a tourist and wanted to get a check-up as she was not feeling well. The woman on the reception told me that they would not take her - they only take people insured in the EU. I asked for an explanation, as I didn’t understand what difference does it make for the clinic if the person is paying themselves - they said “because it’s our policy”. I can’t believe this happens in the 21st century. Never setting a foot in here again.

I have been the client of Canadian Medical for more than 5 years and I am fully satisfied with their quality services. I regularly visit the clinic Prague 6 AFI at Evropska street, which is a very nice building with modern interiors. Doctors are very professional and knowledgeable, and receptionist are very helpful and friendly. I must especially give credit to Chief physician of dentistry MUDr. Petr Chalupa and physiotherapist Mgr. Zdenek Louda for providing excellent medical care, and receptionists Adriana and Misa for their human and friendly approach to patients. They are definitely an asset for the clinic.

Canadian Medical has failed to transfer my family's medical records to our new family doctor, despite repeated requests over several months. Czech law requires files be sent within 30 days, but we've had no cooperation from CM. We enjoyed good care there in the past, but in recent years, the quality of their client services has really declined. Is this because they're now managed by EUC Premium? My family has been part of the expat community here for many years, and we're hearing more and more complaints about Canadian Medical lately.
