Biserica Ortodoxă Română Sf. Arh. Mihail Praga - Parohiapraga.eu

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAceasta biserica de lemn cu hramul Sf. Arh.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspBiserica Sf. Arh.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspCeremonia predarii bisericii locuitorilor orasului Praga a avut loc la 10 septembrie 1929 in prezenta reprezentantilor capitalei, a guvernatorului Ruteniei si a satenilor din Medvedovce in pitoresti costume populare.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspBiserica carpatica Sf. Arh.

A beautiful little piece of the Carpathians in Prague which got here in the first part of the last century when the Ukrainian Carpathians were a part of Czechoslovakia. A visit at the time of service provides an amazing view into another culture.

So many walks through Petřín before and haven't stumbled on it. Found it only after browsing Atlas Obscura. Beautifully located and interesting story behind it

Very nice church, the place is worth the effort (baby in the stroller...). Unfortunately the priest closed the door just few seconds after we arrived, but we will return!

Interesting and unusual (non-Czech) church. Small. A little bit of a hike if your walking from the river area and if you're not fit.

It's not a necessary visit if you have a short trip in the city but if you're not far away from this original church, you should definitely have a look ! The architecture is very uncommon and the park where it's located is very calm and nice ! A place to consider !

Natural, beautiful carpathian church built from lumber and wooden nails. It's a bit of a walk uphill but totally worth it with not only the church but ponds, waterfalls and great views of the city break up the hike. Please take time to enjoy this park and the church!
