Teď to někdo soukromě "opravuje", ačkoliv prý nikdy nebyl proveden hloubkový památkový průzkum stavby.
Damage to the condition of this building. First it was a castle, then after the fire of Dobříš in the 17th century. granary and a communist warehouse. Now someone is "repairing" it privately, although it is said that an in-depth monument survey of the building was never carried out.

Beautiful, key building for Dobříš history. But in a pretty depressing state. Someone is trying there, but it looks more like there will be some commercial use ..... Unfortunately ..... I did not get inside, so just one photo from the neighborhood ......

To tu ovšem byly hluboké lesy a lovecký revír.
Only history lovers know about the old origins of this building and its significance during the reign of Luxembourg. However, there were deep forests and a hunting ground. Another fate was sad - destruction and restoration, and ended up as a warehouse and partly apartments. However, we do not have many standing castles, so someone should start the reconstruction and access.

The first written mention of the Dobříš castle (the court) dates from 1252. Around 1334, the wooden castle was rebuilt into a fortified double castle and Charles IV. moved the seat of the highest royal hunter in here. During the Hussite wars, the castle is listed as a mortgage and in 1630 it was finally sold to Bruno Filip of Mannsfeld. The palace was rebuilt into a granary sometime between 1730 and 1740, and then served this purpose for another 200 years. Today, the building is privately owned and is unfortunately not publicly accessible.
