★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Běžnému turistovi toto místo mnoho neřekne. Znalci historie a především architektury ano. Krásně zachovalé dva příkopy a kus zdi, kde ke krásně vidět, jak se za málo peněz dala z gotiky vyrobit renesance.
This place does not tell the average tourist much. Connoisseurs of history and especially architecture yes. Beautifully preserved two moats and a piece of wall, where you can beautifully see how the Renaissance could be made from Gothic for little money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hrad Žerotín byl šlechtický hrad bergfritového typu. Ačkoli o vzniku hradu Žerotína nejsou žádné zprávy, je možné klást jeho založení mezi roky 1250-1290, do doby Habarta ze Žerotína. Nyní je hrad zřícený a je celkově ohroženou nemovitou kulturní památkou. Hrad byl proto obehnán mohutným, dodnes patrným dvojitým valem s příkopy. Kamenná hradba, kterou byl hrad nepochybně obehnán, se nedochovala. Hradní jádro tvoří ovál o rozměrech 30 × 45 metrů. Jeho obytná část se skládala z paláce a naproti němu umístěné obranné věže, která měla zřejmě atypický čtvercový půdorys o rozměrech 8 × 8 metrů. Z této věže jsou patrné pouze terénní relikty. Místo je příjemné, klidné, udržované. Uprostřed se nachází i dřevěné posezení se stříškou. Velmi pěkné místo.
Žerotín Castle was an aristocratic castle of the bergfrit type. Although there are no reports of the origin of Žerotín Castle, it is possible to date its foundation between the years 1250-1290, to the time of Habart of Žerotín. Now the castle is ruined and is an overall endangered immovable cultural monument. The castle was therefore surrounded by a massive, still visible double rampart with moats. The stone wall, which was undoubtedly surrounded by the castle, has not been preserved. The castle core consists of an oval measuring 30 × 45 meters. Its living part consisted of a palace and a defensive tower located opposite it, which probably had an atypical square floor plan measuring 8 × 8 meters. Only terrain relics are visible from this tower. The place is nice, quiet, well maintained. In the middle there is a wooden sitting area with a roof. Very nice place.
