During the communist era, this land was confiscated from the church and returned after 1989. Two hospital-care facilities were established there, a theological school and a Christian student dormitory. The congregation of the Church of the Brethren meets in the building of the student dormitory of the Prague Tyrannus Hall. The community was founded in 2003 by the preacher Tomáš Grulich. The area is nicely maintained, you can see a traces of constant care everywhere. Near almost all directions are busy roads, fortunately this place is pretty calm. Na počátku dvacátého století zakoupila Církev bratrská ve Chvalech pozemek, kde poté provozovala sirotčinec. V době komunismu byl tento pozemek církvi zabaven a navrácen po roce 1989. Vznikla tu dvě nemocničně-pečovatelská zařízení, teologická škola a křesťanská studentská kolej. Sbor Církve bratrské se schází v budově studentské koleje Pražský Tyrannus Hall. Společenství založil v roce 2003 kazatel Tomášem Grulichem. Areál je pěkně udržovaný, je tu cítit soustavná péče. Nedaleko takřka všemi směry vedou frekventované silnice, tady naštěstí panuje klid.
