★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opět se to rozjíždí a myslím, že dobrým směrem. Doporučuji tam zkusit domácí koláče, ten slaný Quiche??? - prostě "kiš" a pak i ty malé sladké s různými náplněmi, které tam nabízí p. Petra, jsou vážně skvělé (navíc kolem 25,- kus, je až neuvěřitelné na dnešní dobu! Doporučuji.
 It's moving again and I think it's in the right direction. I recommend trying homemade cakes there, that salty Quiche ??? - simply "kiš" and then even the little sweets with various fillings that Mr. Petra offers there are really great (plus around 25, - piece, it's unbelievable for today! I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Od května 22' další noví provozovatelé, majitel stále stejný: Sundisk family.
Aktuální provozovatel se rozkoukává. Platby kartou nyní nelze, o podpisu nové smlouvy na terminál. Teplé jídlo něco málo je, točená malinovka taky, čaj ne, ale už i ubytovávají. Věřím že sekanou za stosedumdesat odvál čas s byvalým provozovatelem. Lokální pivo Rohozec lepší volba, než Staráč. Ještě pitelnou káva!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Byli jsme na Mexickém víkendu a musím říct, že veliká bída... Když jsme po hodině, kamarádka až po dvou hodinách, dostali jídlo, kterého už chvíli po zahájení akce nebyla možná ani polovina a museli jsme vybírat ze "zbytků" , první dojem... celkem ok, po ochutnání návrat do reality... Jídlo skoro bez chuti a slané jako kdyby si kuchař založil solný důl a hledal odbyt a s chutí Mexika mělo jídlo společného tak možná koriandr v rajčatovém salátu... Nejvíc mexického na celé akci byla hudba a pivo Corona. Čekal jsem, že chata má nové majitele a hodlá znovu dobít ztracenou slávu ale tímto směrem určitě ne. Určitě se dlouho nevrátím a až se tak stane, doufám, že aspoň smažák s hranama bude k jídlu ?♂️
We were on a Mexican weekend and I must say that great misery ... When we got food after an hour, a friend after two hours, which was not even half a while after the event and we had to choose from the "leftovers", the first impression ... quite ok, return to reality after tasting ... Food almost tasteless and salty, as if the chef had set up a salt mine and was looking for sales, and with the taste of Mexico, the food had in common, perhaps coriander in tomato salad ... Most Mexican for the whole event there was music and Corona beer. I expected the cottage to have new owners and intends to regain lost fame, but certainly not in this direction. I will definitely not return for a long time and when that happens, I hope that at least the fryer with the edges will be edible ?♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful. I booked family room 23m2 with 12 single beds for group of 8 friends. All these information are on a confirmation from booking.com. Instaed we got an attic of approx. 9m2 with 5 DOUBLE mattresses (I attached photos). We notified recepcionist and hotel administrator that we're resigning from night here, because this is not what we payed for. She declined us any other room and paying money back, so I made a complaint through booking.com. After week of waiting for response I decided to warn other travelers and wrote a comment on booking.com, which was not published but instead I received e-mail from them which in short was "our partner is unprofessional, sorry for that, but we cannot give you money back".
TL;DR 12 single beds room offer is a scam (or overbooking), hotel doesn't want to give money back and booking.com is fine with that
