The children's home is housed in a chateau building bought by the Prague municipality in 1923 and started as a nursing home for the Olives, initially only for girls. Today it is a family type of children's home where 6-8 children live in a group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Začátky dětského domova v Dolních Počernicích klademe do roku 1923, kdy v počernickém zámku vznikla vychovávatelna manželů Olivových - tenkrát pouze pro dívky. Od 1. ledna 1951 tu naopak byli pouze chlapci, ale o osm měsíců později už zde již žili chlapci i dívky. Dnes má 9 rodinných skupin a kapacitu 65 dětí (40 na zámku a 25 v bytech). Objekt zámku je chráněn jako kulturní památka České republiky.
The beginnings of the children's home in Dolní Počernice date back to 1923, when the nursery school of the Olives was established in the Počernice chateau - at that time only for girls. From January 1, 1951, on the contrary, there were only boys, but eight months later there were already boys and girls living here together. Today it has 9 family groups and a capacity of 65 children (40 in the castle and 25 in apartments). The chateau building is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
