Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in the city center in Husova Street was built between 1908 and 1911 on the site of a smaller Baroque church. The architect was Bohumil Štěrba, who is, among other things, the author of the regulation plan of Prague's Karlín. The construction was carried out by the builder Karel Andrejsek. It is a three-nave neo-Romanesque basilica. The middle nave is covered by a flat ceiling, the side aisles are vaulted with a cross vault. The interior is uniformly furnished in a neo-Romanesque style. The church tower, from which there is an excellent view of the whole city, is accessible during the summer holidays, from September to June by appointment. This beautiful cultural monument is of neo-Romanesque origin and dates from 1908-1911. In its place stood a wooden timber church from 1352, which was in the years 1691-1702 replaced by a Baroque building.
