Krásně zrekonstruovaný a hlavně udržovaný kostel.
Beautifully reconstructed and mainly maintained church. Relatively recent reconstruction has been very successful. Excursions around are great. It is just a short drive from the airport or the European street, and it is the first walk from the Wild Šárka.

Ke hřbitovu patří kaple svaté Marty a svaté Ludmily z roku 1712, naproti stojí dřevěná zvonička z roku 1935. Nejstarší dochovaný hrob je z roku 1882. Současná podoba kostela je výsledkem novověkých úprav. V roce 1779 se zřítila klenba kostela a začala rozsáhlá renovace, k níž významně přispěl i penzionovaný rakouský císař a český král Ferdinand Dobrotivý. Beautiful Romanesque rotunda of St. Mary Magdalene, built from golden marl in the first half of the 12th century, is the most important historical building of the entire village, although much of the original Roman block-stone masonry has not been preserved. The building material was probably mined in a nearby marl quarry, which is an important geological locality and a natural monument. Originally the parish church was built on Romanesque ground plan with a cylindrical nave with a diameter of 5.3 meters, with a horseshoe apse and a prismatic tower with a minimum internal dimensions of 1.9 x 1.7 meters. In the vicinity of the rotunda there has been intensively buried since the High Middle Ages, even today, a small cemetery extends around the church, enclosed by a wall. The cemetery includes the chapel of St. Marta and St. Ludmila from 1712, opposite is a wooden bell tower from 1935. The oldest surviving grave is from 1882. The present appearance of the Church is the result of modern adjustments. In 1779, the church's vault collapsed and extensive renovations began, to which the retired Austrian Emperor and Czech King Ferdinand Dobrotivý contributed significantly. It was this reconstruction carried out between 1852 and 1859 by the architect Karel Wiesenfeld that significantly affected the appearance of the church. The interior is neo-Gothic. The most important monument of the interior is the unique early Gothic sandstone baptistery with letters "M A R X", interpreted as MARIA - CHRIST.

Románský kostelik jako ze žurnálu ( trochu přerestaurovaný ). Ale původní stavba z pol. 12. st. Z místního zdroje opuky.
Romanesque church like a journal (a little overhauled). But the original building from the mid-12th century. From a local source of marrow.

Bohužel k nahlédnutí do vnitřních prostor je omezené.
The beautiful Romanesque church is located on an elevated position on the edge of the village. Unfortunately, insight into the interior is limited.

... Areál kostela spolu s ohradní zdí, zvoničkou a kaplí sv. Marty a Ludmily je památkově chráněn.
The origin of the church was linked to the legend, according to which its founder was Princess Ludmila herself. Inside, on the pseudo-Gothic altar, there is an interesting painting of the Adoration of the Magi with the figures of St. Ludmila and St. Wenceslas from 1861. Its author was Josef Vojtěch Hellich (April 17, 1807 - January 22, 1880). ... The area of the church together with the enclosure wall, the bell tower and the chapel of St. Marty and Ludmila is a protected monument.
