U kostela je nádherný starý hřbitov s krásnými náhrobky. Leží zde i letec RAF. Vedle kostela je nádherná hrobka. Z ochozu kostela je nádherný výlet. A dole pod kostelem běžte ke Kopcům. To je super hospůdka jako z filmu pro pamětníky. A dejte si i v létě kachnu. Kostel je z 1. pol. 14. století, původně ve stylu cisterciácké gotiky. Jeho stavbu ovlivnila přítomnost cisterciáků v Klášteře u Nepomuku. V letech 1606–07 proběhla úprava, ze které se dochoval portál do sakristie. Patro věže bylo přistaveno v baroku. Nástropní malba sv. Kryštofa z pol. 15. stol. It is a church on a hill above the village. Its construction was influenced by the presence of Cistercians in the Monastery near Nepomuk. In the years 1606–07, a modification was made, from which the portal to the sacristy has been preserved. The floor of the tower was added in the Baroque style. Ceiling painting of St. Christopher from the middle of the 15th century.

Kostel je zdaleka viditelný a působí svou neobvyklou velikostí impozantně. The Romanesque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was later rebuilt in Gothic style. In the 18th century it was rebuilt in the Baroque style and in 1800 the tower was raised. The church is far from visible and impressive in its unusual size.
