★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and modern hotel, friendly service, parking available for small fee, great location. Rooms have good AC, which is really important. However, maintenance of the rooms is neglected and breakfast consists of cheapest quality food, e.g. eggs and bread. I would prefer to pay extra for good quality breakfast (bio quality/local farmers produce), but there is no such option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's fine for the price, but it is very big and impersonal. The breakfast room was open and serving dozens of people at a time. Not sure why they can open that but not the bars and shops. The bathroom had peeling paint and there were a lot of scuffs on the walls. Its best features are the 5 minute walk to the square and free parking...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge Hotel, 80s vibe all around, rooms are a bit old school but clean and beds are comfy. If you can - choose a room on one of the top floors, the view is great. Breakfast is ok, pretty sad for a vegan but getting used to that in CR.
The hotel is just a few minutes by foot from the Budvar Brewery in one direction and the old town in the other.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
