K areálu patří i novogoticky upravený zámek. Ústav také zpracovává družicové snímky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V roce 1982 jsem zde dostal sondu vypouštěnou balonem. Dodnes jí mám schovanou. Byli jsme se se třídou podívat jak se příroda trefuje do předpovědi. Jo a tu sondu jsem dostal od táty spolužačky, vedle které jsem seděl v lavici :-).
In 1982, I got a balloon ejected here. I still have it hidden. We were with the class to see how nature is in the forecast. Yeah, and I got the probe from my dad's classmate next to me sitting in the bench :-).
