It is currently in "rebuilding" so sometimes it is difficult to find something for staff.

Nejstarší písemná zpráva o středověké vsi Ďáblice pochází z roku 1253, kdy ji darem od Václava I. získává řád křižovníků s červenou hvězdou. The oldest written record of the medieval village of Ďáblice dates back to 1253, when it was acquired by the Order of the Crusaders with the Red Star as a gift from Václav I. The Crusaders built a court here, mentioned in 1438. In the Middle Ages there used to be a fortress at the yard, later replaced by a chateau (and hospital with a chapel). The chateau acquired its present appearance in the High Baroque style after a devastating fire in 1755. The mansard roof is dominated by a turret. The façade of the chateau is decorated with sculptures of St. Wenceslas and angels, probably by Ignác František Platzer. Unfortunately, the building is not open to the public.
