G	Gea Kranenborg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice zoo, it's a pity that a lot of animals could not be seen because of the material used for the cages. Especially for photographing a great loss. A few exotic animals are here that can't be seen elsewhere (as far as I know). The road up (by car, foot or anything else) is not for the fainthearted....brrrr

K	Kristina Bučková Malá on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware, the ZOO is on the top of a very steep hill, you can get here only by one tiny one-lane road and there's only like 20 parking spots. This didn't make me very happy since I drove up only to have to turn back down. I strongly recommend parking in the city center by the main rail station and take the bus up. Other than that, the ZOO is small but beautiful, surrounded by trees so you can visit even on a hot summer day and be fine, there's plenty of small spots with benches where you can relax. There's also small playgrounds for kids. The small restaurant by the entrance has great food and friendly staff as well.

P	Peter Rayden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate leaving bad reviews especially for places with animals because I know how much a lot of the keepers love their animals, but this place needs to be shut down. It was probably great in the 60's and 70's... but there is a real health and safety risk to children and elderly people from the unstable barriers and handrails to wet muddy and slippery moss pathways. I know the team tries hard, but enough has to be enough when it comes to the welfare of the animals and the safety of the visitors.
F	Franziska Weber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked the zoo very much. The price is okay. The animals look healthy. Some of them have rather small cages/areas, others have more space. So it is winter and a lot of the animals weren't outside or in winter houses.
