★ ★ ★ ★ ★ S trochou nadsázky řeknu, že toto je putovní kašna. Na tomto místě stojí od roku 2005. Olomoucký sochař Filip Sattler ji uvedl "do provozu" v roce 1725 na Bernardinské, dnes Slovanské ulici. Byla pojmenována Kašna dítěte s delfínem. Z delfína, jak jinak, tryskala voda. Jenže delfín obecný, někdy též plískavice obecná, druh kytovce z čeledi delfínovití, se nedochoval. Tak tam, místo něj, šoupli hlavu lva. Pak se dílo stěhovalo (vynechám detaily), až spočinulo právě zde. A věřím, že dalšího přemisťování už nebude třeba.

However, the common dolphin, sometimes also the common whiting, a species of cetacean from the dolphin family, has not been preserved. So there, instead of him, they shoved the lion's head. Then the work moved (I will omit the details) until it rested right here. And I believe that further relocation will no longer be necessary.
