V	Vladimir Pecha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The theater in Rytířská street is located in a building whose history dates back to the 17th century, when it was designed by the famous Baroque builders Giovanni Domenico Orsi de Orsini and Anselmo Martino Lurago as the Monastery of the Carmelites at St. Havel. Today's theater hall served as a dining room - a refectory at those times. The Early Baroque vaults were preserved these premises. In the hall itself there are original stucco decorations and ceiling paintings with biblical themes related to the original purpose - The Last Dinner, The Dream of James and Christ in Emmausy from 1730 to 1740. Theater ensembles began to play here only after 1993, when the area was reconstructed and the "Blacklight Theater" began playing here. "Divadlo v Rytířské" opened the 1st season between 2012/2013. Divadlo v Rytířské se nachází v budově, jejíž historie sahá až do 17. století, kdy ji navrhli slavní barokní stavitelé Giovanni Domenico Orsi de Orsini a Anselmo Martino Lurago jako Klášter obutých karmelitánů u sv. Havla. Dnešní divadelní sál tehdy sloužil jako jídelna – refektář. A právě v něm se dochovaly raně barokní klenby. V samotném sále se nachází původní štuková výzdoba a nástropní malby s biblickými náměty vztahujícími se k původnímu účelu – Poslední večeře, Sen Jakubův a Kristus v Emauzích z let 1730 – 1740. Divadelní soubory tu začaly hrát až po roce 1993, kdy byl prostor zrekonstruován a začalo zde hrát černé divadlo Blacklight Theatre. Divadlo v Rytířské zahájilo sezonu mezi lety 2012/2013.
