★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a splendid evening here with Le Nozze di Figaro, world class orchestra, cast and direction
Of course this is a famous venue because of its rich history, inaugurated in 1783 it is one of the oldest theaters in the world preserved in its original form. This is also the place where Don Giovanni by Mozart premiered in 1787 and it's the only remaining theatre where Mozart conducted and that's still around . Lots of history here and I'm glad I took part in a tiny bit of it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, cute small theater, home to many Mozart opera plays among so many other. It’s just beautiful and charming, and has a small bar under the theater for the breaks. I recommend attending at least an opera in this theater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw Don Giovanni here on 29th October, exactly 234 years anniversary of Wolfgang's premièr performance of it here. Swoooooon ..♥️ This theatre is a pretty gem. And very enlightening to see how relatively small the theatre is, and its "acoustic scale" that Mozart wrote the opera for, rather than the huge opera houses, with their huge orchestras and "big sound" that we are used to doing this opera today. And the fabulous sharp orchestra with fine, impressive local singers would even have pleased Mozart, I reckon. I'm an old man, and I've loved Mozart's operas for most of my life, and this place was a TREAT I'll not forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning theater, went there to see Die Zauberflotte and both the performance and esthetics were amazing. You also book the tickets at a very cheap price compared to other European cities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent historical building. To think that Mozart himself was inside this building and the world premier of Don Giovanni was performed here. I have attended many excellent performances here. The latest just last week 22/2/22 ( a rare numerical date ) of The Magic Flute. A great new production.
