E	Eva Jordan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budova zámku je součástí cukrovaru a lihovaru a je sídlem firmy Tereos TTD,a.s. V jeho hospodářské části dnes sídlí Dobrovická muzea. Renesanční zámek si zde postavil Jindřich z Valdštejna, dokončen byl v roce 1610 za dalšího majitele a Dobrovice byla povýšena na městečko. Další Valdštejnové jej později barokně upravily a zámek byl centrem velkého hospodářského panství. Thun-Taxisové zde v roce 1831 postavily cukrovar, což mělo za následek bourání částí zámku, který se tak stal sídlem cukrovarů. The chateau building is part of the sugar refinery and distillery and is the seat of Tereos TTD, a.s. In its economic part is now Dobrovice museums. The Renaissance chateau was built by Jindřich of Valdštejn, was completed in 1610 as another owner and Dobrovice was promoted to a small town. The Wallenstein family later rebuilt it in the Baroque style and the chateau was the center of a large economic estate. The Thun-Taxis built a sugar factory here in 1831, which resulted in the demolition of parts of the chateau, which thus became the seat of sugar refineries.

Pozdější majitelé z rodu Thurn - Taxis jej z velké části od r. 1831 přebudovali na cukrovar, jeho součástí je objekt dodnes. Jaká škoda, kdy dnes se neví co s cukrem na bezdotačním trhu. Nevertheless, the third renaissance landmark of Dobrovice, which has been reconstructed several times, has retained the original character of the Valdštejn castle from the second half of the 16th century. Later owners of the family Thurn - Taxis largely rebuilt it from 1831 to a sugar factory, part of which is the object to this day. What a pity when today does not know what to do in the sugar-free market.
