★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the tracking number it said they attempted to deliver but no warning was left on the mailbox. Tried to call them and selected the English line but no one speaks English and the guy just hang up when he saw I wasn't Czech. Worst service.

I sent a package from Slovenia to Czech Republic to Rozvadov .There is only one big famouse casino and nothing else The whole world knows it and when I track my package it says consignee address wrong ... How can that be? You better deliver that package ..
I wrote already to 3 different emails no answer .. I called but nobody is answering. There is an automatic answering maschine which always sends you to the website. So no help at all. The pack seems to be in Plzen... I bet nobody speaks English. The worst experience ever!

Did not even attempt to deliver a parcel I sent to a large business (reception open all day long), just decided to mark the delivery as "unsuccesful" around 3 pm for reasons unknown. Tracking information also showed "agreed to reschedule" even though the delivery person didn't talk to the recipient at all, and when called back and spoken to, he only kept shouting: "No English!"
The recipient was a foreign national (and so am I, abroad) but nobody should be expected to speak every obscure local language just to send a parcel to that country. No call would be necessary at all if they just did their job properly in the first place.
Also note that only in the Czech Republic, (1) the special tracking website (dpdkuryr dot cz) does not work from abroad (connection refused), (2) calling customer service and choosing English will disconnect you every time, no matter which button you press to agree for the call to be recorded, (3) info at dpd dot cz does not respond to inquiries in English.
Not sure what really went wrong with the delivery originally, likely it's an example of an employee cheating DPD by only pretending to work. Perhaps there were even some extenuating circumstances. But it's everything happening later that's unacceptable.
I expected DPD as an international company to maintain some standards, even in the hinterlands of Eastern Europe (especially as it manages to do so in other countries of the region) but if that's not the case, so be it. There are already too many competing parcel services, and I can just take my business elsewhere. I just wish I knew it earlier, hence the review to warn others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst delivery company ever.
I got package via france post office, I didn't neither know which company it will delivery it here. The man who should delivery it called and said that i have package that he delivered to me and i wasn't at home (he didn't say that he is from DPD company). This is all what i could understand. I don't speak Czech neither he don't speak English. So he just decided to end the call becsuse of language barriers. Trying to call back and give it to my Czech colleague to understand from him, didn't help because he decided not to pickup up the phone.
So i was for 3 days going to Czech post offices to check if my package is there and they couldn't find it anyway (of course because it is in DPD).
I was just surprised that after the unsuccessful call, the man didn't try neither to send SMS Or to let notification in mailbox where i live, as delivery companies usually do
But he decided to give the package back to DPD depo and write there that the address was incorrect (it is not true).
This shows how DPD are taking care about customer parcels.
And this parcel was *VIP DPD express service*
So you can imagine how the clssiv srvice will looks like.
Makes me so angry. And it is last time with DPD
