The apartment house Stallburg No. 53 in the style of French pseudo-Gothic was built in the years 1893-1894 by the owner of the local spa Heinrich Mattoni for the company's employees according to the plans of the Viennese architect Karel Haybäck on the waterfront on the right bank of the Ohře. After 1945, the building continued to serve as a factory apartment building. During the second half of the 20th century, however, the house gradually fell into disrepair, in the 1980s it even partially burned down. In the years 2012 - 2014, its complete reconstruction took place, so that today it acts next to the neighboring devastated spa area as a gem. The only repaired house on the former colonnade. What's around is horror. I support civic organizations to at least fix something.
