★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that big a fan of Egon Schiele, but the ambiance and structure of the museum was very interesting. Their exhibition was about the woman's view (the world through the eyes of woman artists). The art in that exhibition was amazing. You can really feel the theme of each artist there. You can read about the controversial life of Schiele there. The museum does get hot in the summer, so don't assume it's well air conditioned. (Like if you found this useful)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum with a few works and bit of a story about Egon Schiele. Entry price 8EUR per person I thought was a bit much and the other exhibitions aren't very interesting. Disappointed you couldn't take photos inside the Egon Schiele exhibition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice art gallery. Nice overview of Egon Schiele work, but did not notice any of his original work, mostly photographs.
The temporary art exhibitions were fabulous. Wheelchair accessible. Spent there about three hours, so definitely worth visiting this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been waiting to experience the museum for quite some time and had it planned out on a trip. It was one of the main reasons I made a stop in Cesky Krumlov. Woke up excited, walked enthusiastically towards the building only to see that it’s closed because of installing the new exhibition. ,thank you for understanding’ it said on the door… of course, I would have understood if i knew it before and if it had been mentioned!!!!! plzzzZ inform the next potential visitors and don’t mislead and disappoint them.
I profoundly regret not being able to go in:((( cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful museum with various art installations. The most important was that of the resident artist Egon Schiele but the Japanese sculptor Tets Ohnari was a great surprise. His work was amazing. The staff were very pleasant and the souvenir shop downstairs well stocked with posters and other memorabilia.
