★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Od roku 1784 působil ve Sněžném, dříve Německém, maďarský kazatel Pavel Czent Mártony. Z počátku bez potvrzení, konal pobožnosti v selském statku, v létě ve stodole, v zimě ve světnici. Místo k stavbě modlitebny nabídl rolník Martin Veselý a Mártony uspořádal na staveništi zvláštní veřejnou bohoslužbu. Modlitebna byla postavena roku 1788 podle plánů novoměstského tesařského a zednického mistra F. Hromádky a J. Satorie. V roce 1827 byla vydlážděna kamennou dlažbou, lavice označeny jmény majitelů, kolem stolu Páně zhotovena mřížka a byly pozlaceny kalichy.
Roku 1861 vydal císař František Josef I. tzv. Protestantský patent, který již povoloval stavět u evangelických kostelů věže s hodinami a zvony. Sněženští toho využili jako jedni z prvních. K prodloužené modlitebně byla přistavěna věž s hodinami a na ní zavěšeny zvony s nápisy Víra, Naděje, Láska.
 Since 1784, Pavel Czent Márton, a Hungarian preacher, worked in Sněžný, formerly German. From the beginning without confirmation, he did the rituals in the farmhouse, in the summer in the barn, in the winter in the room. A place to build a prayer house was offered by peasant Martin Veselý and Martona organized a special public worship on the site. The prayer house was built in 1788 according to the plans of the New Town Masonry and Masonry Master F. Hromádka and J. Satorie. In 1827 it was paved with stone tiles, the benches were marked with the names of the owners, a grid was made around the table of the Lord and the cups were gilded.
In 1861 Emperor Franz Joseph I issued the so-called Protestant Patent, which had already allowed to build at the Evangelical churches of the tower with clocks and bells. The Snowmen used it as one of the first. A clock tower was added to the extended prayer room and the bells were hanged on it with the inscriptions of Faith, Hope, Love.
