★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na recepci na mě paní začala po příchodu řvát, že návštěvy jsou do deseti (stačilo mi to říct přátelským tónem), úroveň ubytování je zhruba na úrovni Chánova, celkově bych to nedoporučil ani mému psovi. ?
 At the reception, the lady started yelling at me that the visits were until ten (it was enough to tell me in a friendly tone), the level of accommodation is roughly at the level of Khan, overall, I would not recommend it to my dog. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's basically a rip-off. For the same money, you'd be better off getting an apartment or a room in a different dormitory, as this isn't worth the amount they're asking.
Since there is no communication between CZU and the dormitory, reception is unaware of what is going on. The female receptionists are constantly unpleasant and unmotivated, and they are unable to answer basic queries (the males ones are very kind though!).
Although you may deliver packages to the dormitory, reception does not observe or verify the packets, so anybody can steal them (so better not get yourselves anything valuable send to you).
Despite what is mentioned in the contract and on the website, the rooms are not cleaned and the linens weren't changed during the first month. Furthermore, the security guard is always napping and shouting at people, and is not at all helpful. The CZU-dormitory management also takes days to respond to basic emails, and the majority of their responses are unclear.
People are always boisterous at all hours of the day, and because there is no security in this dormitory, there are also some thieves (and I'm not just talking about missing spices in the communal kitchen!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to live in and Jacob who works there is really helpful. But the saddest part is reception doesn't have much authority to help us. My case was my iskam id had got an issue hence my moodle Microsoft teams, Iskam are not working except for uis. The it team is still unable to figure out the issue meanwhile I receive an email from the dormitory saying I need to pay 13029 czk for next 2 months. I went to the reception to pay cash they can't take it I searched for their office with in the campus couldn't get it
Called Prashkova and Brinova they couldn't speak English, later tried Kohman on both his landline and mobile he didn't answer and the issue is if I don't pay by 20th they will penalise me with 30 czk every day and I have already registered from September for3 months and as my visa got delayed I have asked them to start my dates from my arrival which I don't know if they did or they didn't but I receive an email saying late check in fee. To the emails written no response came. When the only source was to reach you is only by email why do you not respond there soon ?
My conclusion this is an amazing place but their rules are not helpful and they won't understand a new person from another country needs time to adjust to their approach. I love the place but they take no responsibility towards the people who stay in. Please be advised

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ West External dormitory doesn’t deserve the amount of its rent at all. Highly expensive comparatively to the services provided. It is a very old hotel and not student rooms. The location in Google map is not very precised so please add the right address to your google map before arrival. Rooms are not very clean with very very old material. the curtains of windows are transparent and it is impossible to get good night with light entering early in morning. Each floor has a shared kitchen, always dirty and you need to clean it/open windows to be able to cook. The dorms are not connected to Life Sciences University at all and are far (1h-1h20) from university (which is different from what they mentioned in their website - 35min). There is no security in this dorm... I had my laundry product stolen from the washing machine 2h after forgetting. Photos on the website do not reflect reality of dorms. I appologize but you can find better dorms or shared flats at same price or even less in Prague

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was a -1 review I would give it but I can't. At first when I arrived there were some hidden costs. 1240 CZK for contract fee. I told them I m going to be late for a few days and they gave me a penalty fee to pay.(But I paid for the rent in advance). You have to pay for the Internet every month. Makes no sense. We are very far away from the University and we have to pay 100€ more for this dorm. On website IT says 35 minutes but in the morning if you are lucky you will be at the University in 55 minutes with a bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't recommend the Dormitory to anyone! It's far from the centre (30 minutes) and also far from the university (50 minutes!). In addition, the rooms are old and poorly equipped. The pictures on the website do not correspond to reality. In addition, the communal kitchen is usually dirty and does not have all the equipment. The price for this dormitory is not reasonable!
