The Neo-Renaissance parish object was built according to the plans of Antonio Wiehl from 1893. The ancient settlement of Poříčí village existed long before the construction of the New Town (according to the plans of King Charles IV.), of which it became a part. We do not know the exact time of its origin, but the mills at Poříčí and the Church of St. Kliment are mentioned already at the end of the 10th century, when German merchants settled here. An important trade route called Vicus Teutonicum led through this settlement. The oldest surviving reports of the local development date back to 1398, when the land with the garden was acquired by the monks of the Order of the Cross with the Red Star who managed the local church. The vicarage was moved to today's place (no. 1137) only sometime before 1653, when the whole local area with the church succumbed to a great fire.

It is a three-storey building with a five-axis façade with rich sgrafitto decoration and a cornice with lunettes. Seven lunnets contain sgrafti with Czech patrons. The design was designed by the architect Konstantin Mrachek Facade - the work of the leading proponent of neo-Renaissance architecture in the Czech Republic, architect Antanin Vil. On the façade is the coat of arms of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star, an order that has administered the parish of St. Peter since the Middle Ages, and also financed the construction of the adjacent parish church of St. Peter in Porzyca. The presbytery in St. Peter's Cathedral has been included in the list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic since 1958.
