ATTENTION, NEGATIVE AND TRUE REVIEWS ARE REMOVED! Department of Cardiac Surgery, Lochotín University Hospital I do not highly recommend this department. My grandfather was admitted to this ward for acute heart surgery in the first half of March. The acute, but "surgery" did not occur until more than a month later, when he was released home about three times during this time, because they were constantly inventing meaningless reasons to postpone the operation. It seems completely unacceptable to me that a patient, before such a very demanding operation, is constantly being told in the hope that he will go to the operation the next morning and when that day occurs, he is informed that the operation will not take place yet, as they remembered that he still has to do this and that. The excuse was that there was poor communication on the ward. I mean, one says something the other doesn't even know. Within one department, it's very sad. If they can't even communicate, are they able to perform their professional activities correctly? Unfortunately, as we have found out, we have not. However, after more than a month, this primary operation has already taken place and everything went smoothly. However, five days after the operation, when the grandfather was supposed to be slowly preparing for discharge from the hospital and when we were told in the morning that she was okay and letting him rest, there was a complication where internal bleeding occurred after removing the electrode from the heart. . They started to solve this only after about six hours long, although he showed signs of vital failure much earlier (this is not deduced by me, based on medical records) ... Although we were told by doctors that it was a small blood loss, in in fact, it was 4 liters of blood. So let everyone take a picture, I can't say now that it seems like a kind of neglect. Unfortunately, my grandfather died after a few days as a result of internal bleeding, and I sincerely regret that we preferred not to arrange this operation in Prague, as everything in this department was wrong from the beginning. I managed to come and say goodbye to him, although at first the doctor did not want to let me in because of the pandemic. I therefore reminded him of the exceptions to the ban (specifically the exception for patients in the terminal stage). This is probably my only thank you for allowing me to say goodbye. And above all, I wish that no one in my family would ever get into this department again.

Unfortunately, I can't describe my very unpleasant experience with the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital in Pilsen, as my review is censored by Google. Is it behind the reporting by the staff of this department, because they know that my review is true? In any case, I really do not recommend this department and I would never entrust my life to them, and certainly not the lives of my family members. One very fatal experience was enough.
