The fire station building underwent a long-awaited reconstruction between 2010 and 2011. Even eight years later, it still looks like new. And so I have never seen a facade in such a color before. On the front of the building is the inscription "Fire Brigade" and above it a glass showcase with a statue of St. Florian, patron saint of firefighters. On the ground floor there are garages and a noise room with a compressor that maintains the pressurized brake system of vehicles. The garages are equipped with a special exhaust hood. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in Rumburk in 1858. It is the third historically documented corps in our country. Albert Ryssert, the then mayor, was responsible for founding the Rumburk church. During 1858, Robert Rochlitz from Česká Kamenice trained the Rumburk team according to the model of the Český Kamen firefighters.
