Hemingway Bar is inspired by Ernest Hemingway, a famous patron of bars who lent his name to more than a few cocktails. We devotes considerable attention to his drinks of choice: absinthe, rum and Champagne.

Hemingway Bar boasts a diverse offer of Absinthe, including the limited edition of Hemingway Absinthe, distilled for our bar by Martin Žufánek. We also feature very rare replicas of the best kinds of Absinthe ever made. We serve this fine liquor the traditional way. Our quests tend to be quite surprised by the general ignorance surrounding Absinthe.
Our bar also offers a wide variety of rums. To this day we carry over two hundred different kinds.
Finally, we carry a choice of the finest sparkling wines from the Champagne region that includes large and famous brands as well as wines from small producers.
However, the bar specializes first and foremost in excellent mixed drinks, prepared exclusively from premium and ultra-premium ingredients as well as fresh fruit juices. Our main goal is to be number one in beverage gastronomy. You will be served by very experienced bartenders, who will provide the best service possible. Our aim is to keep discovering new things and expand our knowledge regarding various products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with certainly one very nice waiter who took the time to explain all the things we could choose from and what could be fixed under the counter.
In all honesty, the cocktails are good but I didn’t get a “wauw” effect from the ones I tried. A bit a shame as that is what I expect from cocktails. Still worth the experience though but please, match the music to the internal atmosphere and the story of Hemingway you try to bring. It has a more lounge feeling than disco feeling to it and the music did not fit the mood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! This is the word, that describes the drinks. Cosmopolitan, is the attitude of the staff. Both results in an bar experience that I would rather keep for myself, but to share (as it is no secrets anymore, I just hope, that the high standard doesn’t decline).
I’ve visited the bar 3 times during the last 5-6 years. Seating is mandatory, waiting time at the entrance was not longer than 10 minutes.

You drink their coctails, you fly ???????Goooo. Their staff is very friendly and smiley. They accept card payments. Their toilets are upstairs, you need to climb few steps?A cosy place, nicely decorated.

Usually is a busy place so it’s possible to have to wait in a line to get in, but is definitely worth the time.

Great atmosphere, friendly stuff and awesome cocktails.

Drinks & snack: the cocktails on their menu are very original and amazing. The classic cocktails were also nicely made. Olives with peanuts are pretty good. (Creamy Bohemian’s appearance can be improved. It really looks like vomit).
Service: staff Kate who served us can be more professional. I didn’t make reservation to come here to be judged by what I order, my race, what I wear, or whom I’m with. Other staff are very attentive and friendly.
Atmosphere: classy deco. The background music was very poor-taste pop music and so loud that we couldn’t hear each other in conversations. Don’t think the music matches a high-end cocktail bar named Hemingway (Maybe light jazz or light classic would fit better).
I can tell most people here care and are passionate about what they do. I just would expect more professionalism from one of the best cocktail bars in the world.
My night could have been much better if I didn’t have to experience the judgments from one staff. No customer should have to.
