Jde o jednu z nejstarších tratí Elektrických podniků, který vznikal ještě v dobách koňských tramvají. Úprava úseku mezi Dělnickou a Jateční ulicí byla dokončena 30. června 1906. V letech 1909-1912 probíhala výstavba Bubenského nábřeží, spojená se zdvoukolejněním prakticky celého holešovického úseku trati. V srpnu 1909 se druhé koleje dočkal i úsek Negrelliho viadukt - Dělnická. Dnes jde o rušný úsek, jehož frekvence provozu se ještě zvýšila po dostavbě stanice metra Vltavská. Několik městských čtvrtí tu propojují tramvajové linky 1, 5, 12, 14 a 25. The section of the Dělnická - Vltavská tram line is part of a larger project connecting Smíchov and Lesser Town with Holešovice. It is one of the oldest lines of the Electric Company of Prague, which was created in the days of horse trams. The modification of the section between Dělnická and Jateční streets was completed on 30 June 1906. In the years 1909-1912, the construction of Bubenské nábřeží took place, connected with the double-tracking of practically the entire Holešovice section of the line. In August 1909, the Negrelli Viaduct - Dělnická section also completed its second track. Today it is a busy section, the frequency of operation of which has increased even more after the completion of the Vltavská metro station.
